Sweet Freedom

2 weeks of tortuous exams are finally over! And I realized that I have not been blogging ever since January. Form 4 is tough. Like seriously tough. Okay maybe I suck at time management but still. It's like the whole year is packed with curricular and extra-curricular stuff. Whatever. I'm dying. *metaphorically

Anyway here are some random stuff:
1. Bobby passed away. Still remember Bobby? My gran's dog. Well, it's really sad. But actually Bobby might be glad to end his suffering... Golden retrievers tend to have serious hip problems and that has been bothering Bobby for his whole life... The saddest part was I rarely see him ever since we stop going to gran's for dinner last year. RIP

2. Me and Nat had an agreement to improve our creative writing. For the whole duration of this hols, she would choose two numbers per day. I would then check the playlist in my phone for the coordinating songs and tell her. Then, we would both choose a song and write something (anything) based on the song. Not exactly based on the song, just that the song is used as a central theme to develop ideas about. Our writing could be based on the title of the song, the meaning of the song, partial lyrics of the song, or a phrase from the song... It could be anything. Today is the first day and we are already feeling too lazy to do it. I doubt we'd carry out the plan throughout the hols anyway. Well, why torture yourself? Anyway, if anyone is interested, visit jewelelements.blogspot.com as we'll be posting everything there. Do not have high expectations coz mostly I think we'll just write a sentence or two... Well, it's suppose to be creative! Oh and it's in Chinese.

3. Since exams are over I'm back to my couch potato lifestyle again. Actually, the tv has lost its appeal to me. I'm more obsessed over ebooks currently. Did I mention that after reading a whole lot of horror novels and watching too much horror movies, I became immune to fear of supernatural stuff? Well, apparently my immunity has passed. So I'm trying to recreate that by reading horror stories again. It's very sad that the horror movies I recorded in my tv are lost forever after the tv broke down ._. oh well.

4. I think I might have depression. I'm having these mood swings where one moment I'm hyper and the next I'm gloomy. I think it's a result of studying too much history. Don't you agree that history makes you upset? Not just in a sense that I'm going to fail History nor in a sense that memorizing so many facts is inhumane, but in the sense that life is meaningless. Not because studying history makes life meaningless, but because history tells us that life is meaningless. It's like, well, however great your ambitions are, however amazing your accomplishments are, in the end everything disintegrates and all that's left is a mere sentence on the history textbook telling students where and where you managed to conquer. At least that's what happened to Augustus Caesar. Even people like him who built an empire is faced with such sad circumstances, so what are we mere people fighting for? Humans are so insignificant in the timeline of history. Life is just too sad.

School tomorrow

So yeah I kinda feel like crying right now. Coz school's starting tomorrow... I don't, like, hate hate school but still. It's always sad when hols are over, no matter how long the hols are, even tho we got one week bonus...

Well the worst thing about school is, obviously, that we have to cut our hair... I can't stand my current length. My fringe kept falling down, it annoys me... Ish. And also we have finally confirmed who our new principal is and trust me no one likes her. And also, our new classroom is on the 5th floor. Stairs and exercise... Plus, the start of school means the start of a busy year full of tuitions, duties and homework. Oh and exams =.= Argh. The only good thing is we are in afternoon session so at least I don't have to wake up early. Some people prefer morning session tho, they say it saves time. Actually it just forces you to wake up early... But then, afternoon session means I cannot go out for tea with my family. (Like we have a choice anyway.) In fact I barely have time even for tv series. It's like, my schedule is so packed.

I sound so pessimistic. Yeah right. Well I saw my primary classmate's status wishing everyone Happy School Reopening. He's actually excited. Well what can I say, I can only say that I cannot manage to work up any enthusiasm. I mean, when I think of having to fight for seats on the very first day I feel like collapsing... Why do we have to work so hard to even get a seat =.=

So actually the main point of telling you this is that I won't be on here often starting tomorrow... (Not that I have been on here much since this year, but hey I was exhausted after 50 posts...) Bye dear blog.

When a close friend sends chain mail I be like, "Duh/Seriously?/Don't be stupid."
When an acquaintance I know but don't know well sends chain mail I be like, *typing* *delete* *seen Jan 11*. Seriously I dunno wut to say when my kinda Christian ex-deskmate that doesn't really talk to me a lot sends me chain mail... Okay I'm just being random.
