Driving Course

This is a short post, coz I'm still feeling lazy.

I'm kinda in a rush to master driving skills recently so that I can successfully obtain my driving license before I leave for Singapore at the end of January. Someone asked, why are you even bothering to get a license if you're leaving anyway? Well, that's a good question. I suppose it's to get one thing off my mind? Plus, after getting a license, there's this two-year period where you cannot be involved in accidents, or you'll have to take the test once more. Given that I won't be here, problem solved~

Wait, I didn't mention anything about Singapore previously, right? Well, that deserves a post on its own. Anyway, I attended this compulsory 6-hour course on related laws and theory yesterday. (FYI, to obtain a license you have to first attend one of those courses, take the theory exam, learn how to drive, pass the mock test, then only the actual driving test.)

It was... horrible. Like I wasted 6 hours of my life. If you count the time taken for transport and all, that will be 9 hours in total. Not that I'll do anything productive at home (Hey, at least I have finished sorting through all my used reference books!) but yeah. The whole institute was crowded with post-SPM students. Did I mention that I hate crowded places? Well, I just did. Basically, I went there looking forward to 6 hours of sleep, or something like that. I guess I forgot, once more, to mention that talks and speeches of any kind are my bane -- I can hardly sit through any without losing consciousness.

Unfortunately, that was not the case, albeit what my friends who have been there told me. Apparently, the authorities decided that they really hate us, to the extent that they installed CCTVs to check on us. A few days ago, some kids were caught sleeping on tape, and the whole class ended up having to retake the course. Welp. Naturally, the instructors were on full alert mode. Sigh.

So yeah, there goes 6 hours of boredom.

p.s. Guys are weird. Like real weird. Some guy decided to go against the rules and not wear a collared shirt, despite the fact that he did bring one in his bag. It's not like he's oblivious to the fact that we are supposed to do so, or else he wouldn't have brought one, right? He ended up getting shooed by the instructor. Guess what he did? Sneak back again while the instructor wasn't looking, before finallly deciding to change. Oh well.

p.p.s. Won't be blogging this week as I'm traveling to KL with friends, woohoo~

I'm back!

After abandoning my blog for a year and a half, I'm happy to announce that the hiatus is over and I'll resume my blog-writing, now that SPM is finally over! Sadly speaking, my brain is all rusty when it comes to stuff like blogging, playing the piano and other things I used to do, I guess it'll take time for me to pick up my hobbies again. The only source of leisure that I allowed myself during the one month in hell was novels -- loads of those, 46 in total, to be precise. Most are novels that I've read n years ago, and given my goldfish memory, I've forgotten the plot anyway. Well, I'm glad that SPM is over and done with -- If there's going to be a retake, you'll see murderous students burning down Malaysia -- and grateful that I'm still alive... XD

So now that I've graduated, no longer do I have to keep my blog a secret: I'm free to criticize whoever and whatever without having to deal with awkward consequences. MUAHAHAHAH. In fact, I've told many my blog address, with the hopes of getting more views! :3 Speaking of which, a friend just told me that one can actually find out about both of my blogs simply by searching my name on Google, thanks to this naive Instagram post of mine. Life is scary. Good thing that I've nothing to hide -- not anymore, now that no one can deduct my discipline marks~~~ Ah, the joy of freedom!

I'm pleasantly surprised the other day when someone urged me to update my blog in the comments -- thanks for the support! Well, for the next two months I'll be updating my blogs every day, alternating between this blog and the other one. For those who don't know about my other blog, there are links scattered all over the place in this blog. I wouldn't advise you guys to visit me there tho -- I suffer from internal conflict -- I'd love to garner more views but I don't wanna freak people out lol.

So yeah this is about it. Short post because my brain is still rusty, or plain lazy. Here's a picture of a kitten for the sake of cuteness~ :3

p.s. In the unlikely case that anyone is curious about my mental support throughout SPM, here are the names of the books (more like the names of each series): 异动之刻,上邪,妖异奇谈抄,禁咒师,殁世录。
