The Ah Fay Incident

Yesterday was Shu Fay's last day at PCGHS. Like Xin Ying, she transferred. She wasn't going so far, just to POWIS. Sigh. Everyone seems to be transferring, our class now has only 38 people left, compared to 35 at the beginning of the year. Jie Min also left yesterday to study in Singapore. So sad. Personally I find Singapore very stressful and the people unfriendly, but I'm sure she can do it. =)

Anyway, that day Fay went to POWIS and didn't come to school. However, someone saw her ._. This being in the 7th lunar month, it's kinda creepy. Yen Yee, who isn't in our class, was the one who saw her, so she asked Nicole during tuition, why is Ah Fay sitting alone opposite her during recess? Nicole was like, she was absent today, what the...? The rational inference would be that Yen Yee mistook someone else as Fay, but still.

Talking of creepy things, some of my friends went to watch The Conjuring, but didn't finish watching it because it was too creepy. I wanted to go but no one offered to bring me... Ee En watched the whole movie, so me and Nicole asked her how was it, and she was like, "Like that lo, normal lo..." So calm and all that. Once, Shu Fay finished reading a creepy horror story, and we were all waiting around patiently with big eyes to see her reaction. And guess what she did? She just said, "So that old man was a ghost?" So damn CALM.

I saw the show "I Wouldn't Go In There" premieres... The show was all over the newspapers because it chose the Penang War Museum as one of the creepiest places in Asia, and so the newspapers portrayed the show as a very creepy one, but it was actually quite boring. The creepiest thing was the music. If we had music like that last time we did a haunted house in the school fair, we don't even need to jump out and scare people...

My virtual kitten

Warning: this post might be a bit boring, so feel free to skip if you feel like it... Blame Nicole please...

So, one day, Nicole visited my blog. She saw my virtual kitten, sighed (She hates animals and tried to persuade me to be the same but failed and she definitely doesn't understand why I like cats.) and decided to  click on my virtual kitten anyway. But, it ignored her. She told me in class. I advised her to try clicking the basket, but the kitten still IGNORED her. Maybe it doesn't like her. So, I experimented just now and my conclusion is, click the kitten to set it free, and click the basket to put it back. But basically it always responds no matter where I click. Poor Nic.

I did NOT name the kitten. The creator (I don't mean GOD, I mean the widget creator.) named it Kelly because K for kitten. If I named it it would be something like Sapphire, Velvet or Stardust. That's not the point. The point is, I have a classmate named Kelly. And she sits on the left hand side of Nicole. (I sit on her right, temporarily--long story.) So I hope she didn't think Nic was referring to her when Nic said,"I hate Kelly the kitten." Yeah so, boring post, please ignore me.

Florence

To avoid confusion, let me tell you that Florence here does not refer to the city in Italy... It refers to a person, my pretty, cute but crazy, smart, bold, cheeky, lively etc friend. Whom this post is dedicated to.
I've got to thank Flo here for inspiring me to take up blogging again. In case you haven't noticed, I kinda gave up for quite a long time, But the main reason I wrote this post is because she asked me too. Hahahaha. Not exactly ask, more of a subtle reminder actually... No offense, Flo, =P
My first impression of Florence is--- admirably bold and cheeky. Seriously, what else is there to say for a girl who gets scolded on the very first day of Form 1 because of what, singing in class?  Yep, that's Flo for you.
Basically Florence is a very fun girl to be with. I've only been close to her since this year and since then, there's a surprise in store at school at least every week, if not every day. It's just that she gets a bit annoying when she keeps nagging me for me homework. Fact statement: Flo rarely does her homework (I'll say she had improved a lot recently, but still.) but she manages to get 3rd in class. 2nd, actually, if you'd be so kind to ignore the discipline marks. (What do you expect?) How unfair is this world?
And Flo has a really great fashion sense. She advises us on clothes, hair styles, blah blah. Just a word, Flo, you're pretty enough, there's really no need to fuss so much over what type of camera you use to take photos of yourself... Trust me, you look good in all of them.
I did one of the craziest thing in my school life with Flo...I help trimmed her hair in a toilet. LOL. Well it's not that crazy, but it seemed crazy enough when we did it. I was like, keep quiet and don't giggle. Not an easy thing given the circumstances. Prefects, if you are reading this, this blog belongs to Tan Ah Miao school number 99999 class K0Z. There, you can go deduct her marks.

Just a random post...

So I kinda stopped blogging for a while... Coz I don't really have time and I'm just a bit lazy... Wakakaka.
Erm, anyway since I wanna start again, I might as well fill in the lost 7 months...
1) I survived. LOL. I know, it might seemed a bit too obvious but hey, it's not easy to survive under all that stress in our class... Well actually most of the class is okay, except for a few that I'm sure would prefer if I haven't survive...
2) I now have... a smart phone. Finally, says Nicole my desk mate. Yeah. But I haven't figured out how to blog on smart phones though... Anyone teach me? And I still have no cat. So sad. I'd rather have a cat... Nicole rolls her eyes and tries to hit me on the head.
3) I started watching anime. Not much, just a few my friend Natalie suggested. Now that I have a smart phone plus faster internet it's easier... So far I think it's okay, quite nice, but I'm not an anime craze either. So yeah.
4) I realized my best friend is a Scorpio. The best friend is Natalie. There's this great site where you can find out your true horoscopes, which sometimes come as a big surprise. Go on, try it. Click here! It'll open in a new window...
5) I learned hidden meanings with Nicole. LOL. The truth is, you can never have a conversation with her that is free of them. So yeah. Unfortunately this haven't helped me in my Chinese Comprehension exam. Which, in case you don't know, is now extremely difficult and has no less hidden meanings than Nic. All thanks to the government's PBS thingy. Er, I hope I won't get arrested for that...
6) My Italian hasn't improved.Sob. /.\ However, hopefully this web page can help me on... Learn Italian with me here! Continue working on it, eh?
7) One of my good friends--Suzannah--is going to Hong Kong. We'll all seriously miss her. T.T
8) Notice the new song in my blog? It's a very long story. To cut it short, in order to persuade Natalie to enter debate, I somehow got myself stuck into a singing competition next year. Yea that's the song we're planning to do. I know you're reading this, but don't give comments!
9) By the way, Facebook has these really cute Pusheen cat stickers. I had lots of fun spamming conversations with them. <3
Yeah so, look forward to more posts. =)
