Week 8

I'm gonna stop this week blah blah thing some day. I always confuse myself over which week is it now. Duh.

So, what happened this week? Basically it's all pretty boring. But still, this is my blog so it's about my life which is boring so it'll be boring. D: Why are  you reading this boring stuff? Coz you're bored. DUHHH.

Anyhow, let's get started shall we? <List obsession mode clicks in again.>

1. On Sun I went to this Indian restaurant. Did I mention before that my family likes Indian food? Okay actually we like all food.
This is the restaurant... But actually that's not the point. You'll see the point later.
And we ate briyani...
The food and drinks and service was okay... But the scary thing was, half way through the meal, a weird looking Malay guy approached and asked for money... And my father looked so horrified it was hard not to laugh. Sounds normal till here, right? Until someone ignored the guy, pissed him off and he started shouting in the middle of the road about something Islam. Mind you I have nothing against Islam, it's just that it makes you feel scared like, is he going to bomb the place? I dunno whether the guy was crazy or just drunk. He sounded crazy but he looked too tidy to be crazy ._. And the tourist couple next to us who was quarreling in some random language looked amused. Then they resumed quarreling.

2. Did I mention I went auditioning for the debate team in my school? Nicole kinda dragged me in. So we had the first audition, no one was out, second audition, the people who freaked out was eliminated... Then the third round. Duh why do we need so many auditions?? Then half the people in the third round was kicked out. Including me. And all the other Form 3s, except those who got in last year. Reason? We weren't mature enough. Apparently the teacher said the Form 2 girl, who was kinda smartass-ish but speaks well, is more mature than any of us, including the Form 4s. The word mature is to be pronounced in a meaningful tone. The topic was 'Should the driving age be lowered?' and apparently the teacher disagreed with our side, which is Pro, so yeah. It's not like we chose the side ourselves, she chose it for us, but given the choice I would probably choose Pro too, tho Con is easier, but me, I like opposing views of the majority. Don't believe me? Add BlueSapphire in debate.org. It's me. Anyway I have the feeling they weren't having in mind to take in any Form 3s. So why have us go to auditions? Grace was right, it was just a waste of time that would be better spent blogging and studying Sejarah.

3. There's this really really annoying kid in my art class. He is like, lower primary and studying in my old primary. I feel so sad for Han Chiang, are the pupils nowadays all of such low standards? We were never like that back in our times... (Hahahahaha I sound so old!) But hey, he really brought the term annoying kid to a whole new level. What does the average annoying kid do? They make noise, they yell, they hit the tables, they scream... But this kid here, is actually SEXIST at the age of 8 or 9. WTF?? He has a sister, he always bullies her, then the sister is like, why are you allowed to do this do that to me, he's like, coz I'm older and I'm a male. Then I'm like, heyy I'm older so can I slap you? Seriously if he comes to class any longer I'm afraid one day I'll fail to control myself and slap him. Thankfully he usually goes to the Saturday class, and only comes to my class (Sat) when he has school replacements on Sats. One day his mum came and I felt compelled to go forward and tell her that I can predict that her son will have no decent future whatsoever, he is destined to be a FAILURE!! Yes, yes, I'm a feminist. I know right.
