Week 5 (B)

This will be a short post because I'm busy researching my debate audition stuff. Seriously I feel like chickening out, especially after they changed the rules, and after I realized that the Form 4s are so much better than me, but Nic will surely be annoyed. To speak of which, Nic ignored my message about the format stuff. Grr.

Anyway, happy chinese new year guys~ <say it in a bored tone> The reason for the bored tone is because in my family CNY isn't really that big a  festival. I don't really get on well with my paternal relatives, so yeah. And my maternal grandma just had an eye operation before CNY and she's still recovering so no big celebration either. So I'm seriously bored especially with my busy friends ignoring me.

But I've never been a big fan of CNY anyway, except for the food~~ and the angpow money~~~ and the holidays~~~~. I don't like the Astro CNY songs since I was in primary, for some reason I've forgotten. And I don't like the colour red, it's not my cup of tea, black suits me way better, but my mum is like, don't wear black to your friend's house, they might pantang (be unhappy because of some stupid superstitions). And I don't like CNY decorations, especially red lanterns. Especially red lanterns that half run out of batteries and keep blinking. They remind me of some ancient horror movie I watched as a child. I suppose the image just got stuck in my head. Lesson of story: don't let your young kid watch weird horror movies, they might develop some weird dislike towards some weird things. After all, life is weird. (That's the quote of the week from Flo.)

One more sad fact of CNY and we're done for the day. You know that moment in a relative's gathering when you make a sarcastic comment about some lame thing a particular relative you dislike said, and you realized there's no one beside you to hear you out. That moment when you missed your friends. #sadcase

p.s. Sorry that I forgot to post pics. They'll appear on the next post I promise~~ But never trust my promises.

Week 5 (A)

I just discovered that I might have split personalities. Like, when I write for fun, work that only me and maybe one or two friends will get to see, my tone is like, dark. But for exams and school work, it's like I paste a fake smile on my work. It's full of so much fake cheery and patronizing stuff I myself feel like vomiting. But Nat assured me it's perfectly normal. As for the posts on my blog, it's somewhere between dark and fake cheeriness. Duh.
For example:
Dark tone: The world is cruel and creepy and everyone out there is trying to eat you and tear you into pieces.
False cheery tone: The world is a great place! I love my country!! (Note the use of exclamation marks. How fake. Real life doesn't require so much emotions.)
Normal tone: The world is boring. Life is boring. Duh.

Anyway, the reason this post is called 5A is because I have too much stuff to share this week. And since it's chinese new year hols I'll blog often. Well I'll try anyway.

So one day I decided to put my blog ad on my Insta account. And the next day a classmate (And a creepy one too! No offence.) told me she had read my previous post and she knew who I was talking about. Then I'm like, NO!? Well it's really scary! And in case the stated classmate is reading this, you guessed wrongly and it wasn't her okay? (I tried to tell her in class but she refused to believe me =.=)

I'm lazy to blog anymore for today so this is it! I know I've been really lazy but I promise photos on the next post. Not photos of me of course.

Week 4

Hi world I still exist.

Basically nothing mush happened. Except for the fact that we have our first sports house practice today. Which was, well, pretty boring as usual. And Sherwin came although she is not in House Purple, to discuss plans about some video competition with her friend, whom Nic and I dislike. But Nic says maybe she is okay. I don't agree. But anyway in front of Sher we pretended to be perfectly normal. Gosh I hope Sherwin is NOT looking at this. Yea so Sherwin kept making us laugh when we were running so we did terribly. But we always did anyway. Which means we did extra-terribly today. But at least the shot put thing did not fell out of my hands the moment I tried to throw it...

And I did something stupid. When I was changing into my pj tee in the toilet, I saw something jump and I got frightened like hell. So I took a big step back and accidentally brushed the opened of the water pipe. Then of coz the water gushed out and splashed me. Duh.

Yeah so lastly I will recommend a song I've been listening this week. It's a chinese song and it means, say goodbye properly. It is actually about a couple quarreling... Not quarreling, just that the gal wanna leave and the guy refuses. So he tries to persuade her. But whatever he says, she shoots back. Hahahaha~ Okay most people don't find that funny but I do. Kinda. Fine ignore me. The link: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=k_feSPfdERc .

Week 3

So yea today is a holiday. Someone said that we should love all religions as they all have holidays. Oh well. I just finished a book Nat lend me called 'Blink of an Eye', it's about this Saudi Arabian princess who fled her marriage, and ended up fleeing across America for her life, with an American genius who is clairvoyant and saved her life a lot of times, and yes in the end they fall in love. The book kinda makes you feel un-religious. Anyway I hope grass isn't growing on my blog already. I think blogger should have this setting that allows viewers to plant some grass if they feel that the blog hasn't been updated for a long time. Then when the blogger returns to the blog she or he would have to clear the grass. Ahahahahaha.

So basically nothing much happened at school. Except for the fact that Nicole is now a bit obsessed over migrating birds. As a result of my previous post. Quote me, "I'm a migrating bird trapped in an insane asylum called life."

Oh and I'm now an individual rights activist. After reading Blink of an Eye. An individual rights activist is basically someone who believes that an individual's rights are superior compared to let's say, a country.

I'm kinda moody and don't feel like posting much. Bye.

Week 2

Hi I'm blogging! Like, finally haha, though not as long as Flo... XD Anyway first I'll announce some changes. From now on I'm only going to update once a week, either on Fri or on Sat, coz life is starting to get hectic here! So yea I'll still try my best and not let my blog grow fungus and rot. And because I'm only blogging once a week, the post is going to be a bit messy: pieces of this thing and that. oh and coz I'm too lazy to think of names, I'll just name my blog posts week 2, week 3 etc. Week 1 is last week so yea we start with week 2. And finally don't expect pictures, you do know that we cannot bring phones to school right?

Okay so as I mentioned, life is hectic, busy and stressful. Everyday we have homework, not to mention revision blah blah and tuition. Granted, being in the morning session we have more time, but it gets very tiring. Someone I know who is Form 4 and scored top in an english school has actually started memorizing sejarah. Wth. That is what we call crazy. Point: I'm not crazy kay? (To Nic, Flo, Tiffany and Nat) Anyway my current lifestyle reminds me of a song lyric that means "Life is like migrating birds, we keep flying on and on." Click here to listen to the song. Yes Flo it's the song I sang in ktv last time. Every day my life is like so rushed, rush on to something then something else and more and more... I feel so bored and meaningless. But obviously you cannot kill yourself juz because you are bored. Don't freak out la it's juz that I saw the sentence in some random novel. Wait it's not a random novel it's actually an online novel that is still half done and the author posts every day and I always read... But obviously I don't have time to read anymore now.

And we had our assembly on Wed. Kelly (the person, not the kitten) (the kitten has changed its name) sat behind me coz we were supposed to go on stage to collect prizes later. Then of cuz she ignored me. Normally in assemblies I talk, either with Nic or with Nat, but that day I had no one to talk to... And the assembly was like very very long... So it's like the most boring assembly I've ever had, even more boring than the time when I was a prefect in primary school and sat behind some younger boys... at least I can listen to the boys talking, but Kelly doesn't talk, she just sat there with a serious face and looked like she's actually listening. Who listen to teachers giving speeches during assembly??? And the whole assembly long I have many sarcastic comments to make and normally me and Nic would be whispering like mad but now I can't. So when I go back to class I'm like, Nic I miss you. LOL.

Gaze

Nat always told me her stories about creepy gazes. I never believe her. Now I wanna apologize coz I just had a creepy gaze experience.

I was walking out of the side door of 1st Avenue, chatting with my mother, then suddenly this passerby woman just looked at me, stared at me, and I was like, what the hell you're creepy man! And I was like totally freaked out and stared back and blinked at her. The woman isn't ugly or creepy looking, but her gaze sure was unnerving.

Now about Nat's story. A long time ago. Duh, not like fairy tales once upon a time, juz a few years ago in primary. Actually you can read about this in her blog. Anyway, she was waiting for her turn in front of the last toilet, and out walked a girl, a junior prefect, who smiled slightly at her. And somehow Nat found her weird and creepy. And we searched for the junior after that but we didn't run into her again. So Nat suspects that she doesn't exist, LOL. Well I hope she's just paranoid.

Miaow

I finally managed to change my virtual kitten's awkward name!!! YAYYYY!!! I'm such a genius muahahahahah. In case you haven't noticed, I changed the color too. Well it's now blue to match the overall of my blog. So yea. Cheers to renamed virtual kittens.

Pek Cek-ing

What does it mean? Well it means the moment when you are ordering a Humble Beginnings milli crepe cake, but it's not for you. That's what I'm doing so this is what I feel. ZZZ.

TGIF

So after two days of school, finally it's FRIDAY!! YAYYYYY!!

I'm like, super tired and sleepy. I mean, we don't really have homework YET, but it's very tiring to wake up so early, especially for people like me who like stay up late. The positive side is that I now have more time. I suppose that's the difference between morning class and afternoon class.

Anyway, saw someone do this on Facebook, so I'm being a copycat...

Class teacher/English teacher: She's okay I suppose. Also happens to be our Scrabble teacher last year. But she looks a bit... traditional. Oh and her jokes are kinda lame... For example, there's someone called Jane in class, and the teacher was like, Jane, Tarzan's girlfriend....

Geography: All geo teachers have the same temperament... =.= Almost the same, anyway... They all like to rush on the syllables.

Malay: She's a malay but she doesn't wear tudung(head scarf). At first I thought maybe she'll be special or something, but nahhh. Her whole personality can be described with ONE word: :LAAAAAZZZZYYYYY.
After she came in she just sat down and never budged again. She's even too lazy to scold us. Nic was like, this is the real zombie. Me: Nope more like a sloth. Nic: That's epic!!! HAHAHAHAH.

Chinese: Ok loh~ She looks more fierce than she actually is lah~ But she's very particular, and she forced us to write 2 essays in 2 days! Duh~

History: She looks kind but she's not. Zzz. She actually wrote on the board about what things not to do in her class or you will be demerited. Including sleep.

Maths: Haha now this is funny. Our class teacher specifically warned us that she is fierce. So far she hasn't scold us but still. And someone said she's the head discipline. Creepy.

Science: At first we thought someone else is gonna teach us coz they have the same initials. And that scared the crap out of us. Thank god it's another person. She's okay but kinda weird. She allowed us to choose our own seats in science lab and Flo insisted that we should take the first row so we did. My first time sitting in the front row. Yay? Oh and she can't pronounce R and L properly. Making us end up trying hard not to laugh.

Living skills: She's nice! After teaching for 2 and a half periods she allowed us to rest. And she keeps chatting with us. And she has a kid. And she says okay after each sentence. And she chooses the foreman (Group Leader) by drawing lots. Coz no one volunteered. She's nice.

So far that's all. Bye! Wish me luck coz I'll need it.

Feeling Down

Yea so school starts tomorrow. Me feeling sad. It's not like I hate school, I'm just upset for my holidays that passed. Sigh. Nothing else to say but hope the next holiday come soon... Duh.
